The Therapeutic Riding Institute, Inc. (TRI) provides horse back riding experiences that benefit the students through physical activity, mental stimulations, peer relationships, and extended communication opportunities. These experiences carry over into the student's everyday activities and relationships by giving them the confidence to try new and challenging experiences.
TRI is one of over 800 members of Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) which establishes riding activity and therapy standards to which all PATH Intl. members adhere. Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) is recognized nationally and internationally as an accepted supportive therapy for people with varying types of disabilities.
Classes are held at Beechwood Farm, 9429 Clyo Road, in Centerville.
