TRI Events and Activities

The Therapeutic Riding Institute (TRI) Board thanks the greater Dayton area community for their continued support of the unique riding program that TRI provides. Through donations to our various events and student activities, TRI's children and adults have the opportunity to expand their horizons and abilities. The horse's relationship with the student provides a bridge between life's challenges and personal achievements that enhances the riders' lives.

TRI encourages the community to participate in special opportunities to learn about horses and our program. Visits from the South Metro Regional Chamber of Commerce introduce TRI to local businesses. Special needs groups spend a couple of hours touring the facility. They meet the horses and learn about their care. Local Girl Scout, Boy Scout, and 4-H groups are encouraged to visit TRI to earn their specialty horse badges. To arrange for a visitation to TRI, contact Betty Lou Townley at 937-885-7909.
